Experience the “Here & Now”
Four killer bands. One huge night. That’s what fans will be expecting this Friday as rock superstar Nickelback, along with supporting bands Bush, Seether and My Darkest Days, take over the AA Center stage. As one of the biggest rock bands of the decade, Nickelback is known for their extraordinary live shows. You should know what to expect: pyro, mosh pits, guitar solos, screaming fans and, of course, the unexpected (it is a rock show after all).
Headliner Nickelback has sold nearly 45 million albums worldwide, having garnered popularity after the release of their album Silver Side Up which featured their first hit single “How You Remind Me.” The band achieved mainstream success with later albums The Long Road, All the Right Reasons, Dark Horse and recent release Here and Now, which debuted at the #2 spot on the Billboard Top 200. After drummer Daniel Adair promised to “bring [their] biggest, baddest, most over-the-top show yet” following the November album release, concert reviewers have been raving about the band’s performance. Spoiler alert: tour attendees have mentioned that the band performed songs on a rotating stage above the arena floor. Guess we will have to find out Friday if the spoiler holds true.
In addition to Nickelback, rock sensation Bush will own the stage for the night. With the reform of the popular 90’s alternative band, frontman Gavin Rossdale and company are already seeing success with the release of their single “The Sound of Winter” from their most recent album The Sea of Memories. So expect to hear new hits as well as some of the oldies-but-goodies like “Glycerine” and “Machinehead”. Nickelback will also be joined by rock successes Seether and My Darkest Days for the June 1st show.
So if your weekend currently falls under the category of bland, boring or uneventful, I encourage you to live life on the edge just for one night. Experience the “here and now” Friday, June 1st.
Tickets for the show are still available and range from $40-$90.
