Katherine Jenkins “The Complete Package” on Dancing with the Stars
She can sing AND dance! In last night’s season finale of Dancing with the Stars, famed British mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins finished as the runner-up in the celebrity turned ballroom dancer TV series. As the pick to win, Katherine Jenkins fell just short of taking home the famous Mirrorball Trophy. Now that the season is over, she will be trading in her dancing partner for a singing partner, as a guest performer for Andrea Bocelli on November 30. Although she won’t be performing the waltz or the jive, Jenkins and Bocelli will deliver a show that even DWTS judge Len Goodman would give a “10”.
So we hope you’ve been tuning in to the show this season because we are going to give away two pairs of tickets for the Bocelli show in celebration of Katherine Jenkins’ performance! Just leave us a comment on this post by noon on Friday letting us know what your favorite performance was of Katherine’s this season and we’ll pick two lucky winners to get a pair of tickets to the show. I LOVED Katherine’s last dance…the jive. She is beyond amazing!
But I also loved the one where her back gave her trouble and she was so disappointed ~ we all have trouble but her grace and elegance was inspiring.
I would love so much to hear and see her sing with Andrea!

Katherine was the best dancer this season. I especially enjoyed her
performance Monday night because she got to sing as well as dance. She has a beautiful voice. I was so disappointed she did not win the mirrorball trophy she deserved it. I would love to see Katherine and Andrea they both are amazing singers it should be a wonderful performance.

I have ABSOLUTELY LOVED ALL of Katherine’s performances!! I especially liked her first jive early in the season, because until that time I thought she was too sophisticated to do this! She proved to me at that moment that she could do anything! And when she did the waltz, I thought she was pure royalty. She truly deserved to WIN the Mirrorball trophy!

My favorite dance was the freestyle she did on Monday evening in the finals, because she seemed to relax a bit and have fun with it. She is incredibly talented in so many ways, and I can’t wait to hear her sing with Andrea Bocelli.

I don’t think I can say that one was outstanding over another. She was awesome and had all my votes. She looked as good as any professional out there and fit right in as a dancer. Sure she had some mistakes, but for the amount of time they are given for training, I think she did terrific. She should have won as far as I was concerened. I can’t wait to now here her sing with Bocelli. She definetly needs to be given more credit than she was for her performances. GREAT JOB Katherine!

I loved Katherine – she was so emotional and had such a connection with her partner. She was a joy to watch but I especially loved when she danced the jive – it was so fast and fun!!

She had many fantastic performances, but my fave is from the night she did the Salsa. She gave it all she had, holding nothing back. She left it all on the stage that night. The non perfect ending of the dance due to her putting everything into it and straining her back just puts into perspective that she gave her all in that dance.

Katherine’s elegance, poise, and grace were evident from the beginning, and when coupled with her talent and determination, she was and is the epitome of a champion. Her performances were nearly flawless and her gracious expressions of gratitude and acknowledgement of her partner’s contributions to her success, by all appearances, were genuine and heartfelt-a true mark of a lady who will achieve her goals without claiming it is all about her. She was a joy to watch and it would be a privilege to hear more of the beautiful voice of such a lovely person, in every sense of the word.

Having never heard of her until DWTS, she became a big fan of mine with her lovely voice and sweet personality. I really enjoyed her jive dance and she looked terrific in all of her costumes. Just a beautiful young lady!

Katherine is so beautiful and so graceful. Her Jive, and Freestyle were my favorites but her waltz was overwhelming. Really felt she should have won. She and Andre will be perfect together.

Katherine was my wife’s favorite. Sorry, but I’m a Packer fan so I had to vote for Donald. She was fun to watch and really a better all around dancer than Donald was. And she can sing!

I loved ALL of Katherine’s performance because she was SOO joyous in everyone of them…she truly loved what she was doing. She sparkled and shined and made me SOO happy to watch her. I have to say I LOVED her final jive…I was exhausted for her at the end. AMAZING!!

Oh that’s a hard one! She was awesome the whole season but I think I’m going with the Tango. I didn’t know who she was until DWTS but she has won a new fan. She’s so classy, sweet, and talented (both as a singer and as a dancer). I would love to see her perform in person!

Katherine was ‘Brilliant’!!!! I loved her waltz, dedicated to her dad. Very sweet and heart felt. Her whole season was Fab. Loved the Jive and you could see the joy in her dance. I appreciated that she never complained, her relationship with her partner was inspirational and she is SOOOO talented. I would LOOOOVE to hear her sing with Boccelli!

My favorite is Katherine’s last dance, the jive. An excellent performance, full of energy and emotion.
I would love to hear and see her with another great artist. It would be the perfect Christmas present for my brother who really loves Andrea Bocelli!

Katherine was absolute FAVORITE pick this season! So disappointed with the results, however my favorite would be the beautiful performance with her live vocals! That performance truly did show that she was the next mirror ball winner! With her positivity, elegance and poise she gave me goose bumps with the entire performance. It would be a life long dream fufilled to be able to take my mother to this show. An absolute once in a life time experience! We love Katherine and Andrea!!

My favorite dance was when she did the waltz. She was so beautiful and so eloquent. It was an incredible tribute to her father and I’m sure he would be very proud of her. You could see all her emotion in that dance as well as after. And she moved the audience to tears as well. I can only imagine how difficult that was for her, but she carried herself gracefully. What an amazing woman!

I absolutely loved her waltz… Even though it wasn’t the judges favorite it showed off her poise & elegance!! She is the best dancer that DWTS has ever had!!! Loved hearing her sing last year on the show as well, so happy they brought her back to dance!!!

Catherine proved she could do any dance they threw at her, but she absolutely excelled at the more formal ballroom dances. The night she and Mark waltzed was absolute magic and I found myself unexpectedly tearing up. I guess great beauty speaks to the heart with its own language.

She was my fav from week one and I’m glad she sang a couple phrases at the beginning of her freestyle. The night she danced the tribute to her father brought tears as I could feel her love for him through her dance.
